Checking Your Balance

Keep track of your wallet balance and see your recent activity.

Quick Balance Check

In the Member Portal

  1. Log in to the Member Portal
  2. Click My Wallet in the menu
  3. Your current balance is displayed at the top

On Your Phone

If you've added your card to Apple or Google Wallet:

  1. Open your Wallet app
  2. Tap your member card
  3. Your balance appears on the card (updates periodically)

Understanding Your Balance

Balance History

To see how your balance has changed over time:

  1. Go to My Wallet in the Member Portal
  2. Click Transaction History or Activity
  3. Filter by date range if needed
  4. See each transaction that affected your balance

Low Balance Alerts

Get notified before your balance runs low:

  1. Go to My WalletSettings
  2. Find Low Balance Alert
  3. Set your threshold (e.g., R50)
  4. Choose how you want to be notified (email, WhatsApp, SMS)

When your balance drops below this amount, you'll receive an alert so you can top up.

Balance at the Club

Staff can look up your balance at any register. Just provide:

  • Your member number, or
  • Show your digital card

Frequently Asked Questions

Why doesn't my balance update immediately?

Your digital card balance syncs periodically, not in real-time. For the most current balance, check the Member Portal.

Can my family see my balance?

Only you can see your wallet balance when logged into your account. Family members on linked accounts have their own wallets.

What happens if my balance goes negative?

Your wallet cannot go negative. If a transaction would exceed your balance, it will be declined. Consider setting up auto top-up to avoid this.
