Apple Wallet
Add your member card to Apple Wallet on your iPhone for quick access at the club.
Requirements
- iPhone 6 or later
- iOS 15.0 or later
- Signed into iCloud on your device
- Active club membership with wallet
Adding Your Card
From the Member Portal
- Open Safari on your iPhone
- Log in to the Member Portal
- Go to My Wallet
- Tap Digital Card or Add to Apple Wallet
- Review the card preview
- Tap Add in the top right corner
- Your card appears in the Apple Wallet app
From an Email
If you received an email with your digital card:
- Open the email on your iPhone
- Tap the Add to Apple Wallet button
- Review the card preview
- Tap Add
Using Your Card
Quick Access
- Wake your iPhone (press side button or tap screen)
- Double-click the side button (or home button on older iPhones)
- Your cards appear - swipe to find your member card
- Show the barcode to staff at the register
From Wallet App
- Open the Wallet app
- Tap your member card
- Show the barcode to staff
With Face ID or Touch ID
For extra security, your card may require authentication:
- Double-click side button
- Glance at your phone (Face ID) or use fingerprint (Touch ID)
- Show the authenticated card to staff
What's on Your Card
Your digital card displays:
- Your name - Member name as registered
- Member number - Your unique membership ID
- Club logo - Your club's branding
- Barcode - Scanned by staff for payments
- Balance - Your current wallet balance (updates periodically)
Notifications from Your Card
Your card can send notifications:
- Low balance alerts
- Transaction confirmations
- Membership updates
To manage these:
- Open Wallet
- Tap your member card
- Tap the ... button (top right)
- Toggle Allow Notifications
Adding to Apple Watch
If you have an Apple Watch:
- Open the Watch app on your iPhone
- Go to Wallet & Apple Pay
- Find your member card under "Other Cards"
- Tap Add
- Your card syncs to your watch
Using on Apple Watch
- Double-click the side button on your watch
- Swipe to your member card
- Show the barcode to staff
Keeping Your Card Updated
Your card automatically updates when:
- Your membership renews
- Your balance changes (periodic sync)
- Club updates the card design
Manual Update
If information seems outdated:
- Open Wallet
- Tap your member card
- Pull down to refresh
- Or: Remove and re-add the card from Member Portal
Troubleshooting
"Add to Apple Wallet" Not Appearing
- Make sure you're using Safari (not Chrome or other browsers)
- Verify you're signed into iCloud
- Try logging out and back into Member Portal
- Update iOS if an update is available
Card Not Showing in Wallet
- Open Settings → Wallet & Apple Pay
- Check if your card is listed
- If not, re-add from Member Portal
Barcode Not Scanning
- Increase screen brightness to maximum
- Clean your screen
- Try holding phone closer or further from scanner
- Ask staff to manually enter your member number
Balance Shows Wrong Amount
The balance on your card syncs periodically, not in real-time:
- Pull down on the card to refresh
- Check Member Portal for accurate current balance
- Remove and re-add card if significantly outdated
Removing Your Card
- Open the Wallet app
- Tap your member card
- Tap the ... button (top right)
- Scroll down and tap Remove Card
- Confirm removal
Your wallet account remains active - you can re-add the card anytime.
