Updating Your Digital Card

Keep your digital card current with the latest information.

Automatic Updates

Your digital card automatically updates for:

  • Membership renewals - New expiry dates
  • Balance changes - Periodic sync of wallet balance
  • Card design updates - New club branding or layouts
  • Account changes - Updated member details

These updates happen in the background - you don't need to do anything.

When to Manually Update

Consider manually updating if:

  • Balance shown is significantly outdated
  • Membership details have changed
  • Card looks different in Member Portal
  • You've been asked to refresh by support

How to Update

Refresh in Wallet App

Apple Wallet

  1. Open the Wallet app
  2. Tap your member card
  3. Pull down on the card to refresh
  4. Wait for the card to update

Google Wallet

  1. Open Google Wallet
  2. Find your member card
  3. Pull down to refresh
  4. Card updates with latest info

Re-add the Card

For a complete refresh:

Apple Wallet

  1. Open Wallet
  2. Tap your member card
  3. Tap ...Remove Card
  4. Go to Member Portal on your iPhone
  5. Navigate to My WalletDigital Card
  6. Tap Add to Apple Wallet

Google Wallet

  1. Open Google Wallet
  2. Find your member card
  3. Tap Remove
  4. Go to Member Portal on your Android phone
  5. Navigate to My WalletDigital Card
  6. Tap Add to Google Wallet

Balance Updates

Why Balance May Be Outdated

Your digital card balance is a cached snapshot, not real-time:

  • Syncs every few hours
  • May not reflect very recent transactions
  • Pull to refresh for a newer snapshot

Getting Accurate Balance

For the most current balance:

  1. Log into the Member Portal
  2. Go to My Wallet
  3. View your real-time balance

Balance on Multiple Devices

If your card is on multiple devices:

  • Each device refreshes independently
  • Balances may differ slightly
  • All will show the same after refreshing

After Membership Changes

When your membership is updated:

Troubleshooting Updates

Card Won't Refresh

  1. Check internet connection
  2. Make sure you're logged into Apple/Google account
  3. Try removing and re-adding the card
  4. Contact support if issue persists

Old Information Persists

  1. Remove the card from your wallet app
  2. Wait 5 minutes
  3. Re-add from Member Portal
  4. This forces a complete refresh

Card Shows "Update Available"

Some cards display an update notice:

  1. Tap the card
  2. Follow prompts to accept the update
  3. Card refreshes with new information

Best Practices

  1. Refresh before visits - Pull to refresh before heading to the club
  2. Check Portal for accuracy - Use Member Portal for real-time balance
  3. Re-add periodically - Remove and re-add every few months for best sync
  4. Keep apps updated - Ensure Wallet/Google Wallet apps are current

Contact Details Changed?

If your email or phone number changes:

  1. Update in Member Portal under Profile
  2. Your digital card doesn't need updating
  3. Notifications will go to new contact details
